Edmund hillary here. I'm on my decent down. I'm getting better at not sliping. It is snowing out i cant even see 2 feet in front of me. It is 52 below. Tenzing is a better climber then I thought. He is is good at not slipping. I think we are making good timing. we are tring to set up the tents.I am happy my climb is over. The view was owsam. AND iam happy to stand on top of theworld again

I am done my climb of Mt. Everest

I am all done my climb. I am so happy that I am done my climb! I was the first person to climb Mt. Everest. I have to say that if you climb Mt. Everest you want to be prepared! When I got to the top I walked to Tenzing and I said " We are the first people to climb Mt. Evearst you want to be prepared! When I got to the top I walked to Tenzing and I said " We are the first people to climb Mt. Everest. He said. "I know that but I am scared because the ladder broke over the crevasse and we can't get down! Oh My Gosh!" So how are we going to get down the mountain?" I don't know He said. Oh well we should go get the phone and then see if we can call base camp. Then we can tell them what happened so then they won't be wondering what is going on! When I called Base Camp I told then what happened and then they fixed it and put a new ladder there. Then we can tell then what happened so then they won't be wondering what is going on! We are down at the bottom and they where in the lodge and our family were there waiting for us to get down the bottom of the mountain. We were so happy that they were there. IT WAS THE HAPPIEST MOMENT OF MY LIFE!!

everst descent

Its me Tenzing again and I am on my descend down the highest point on earth. It has been 3 weeks since i have reached the top of the world. We are down in Kathmandu and we are going to see are family's. And we are going to see the doctor to see how much brain sells me and Hillary lost on our expedition on Mt Everest. Everest is a hard mountain to climb and we were the first people to summit Everest. It was a good felling to summit the highest point on the face of earth.

Edmund hillary here.We are on everest.This is just wonderful up here. the view is awesome. IT looks cool with all the little mountains bowing down to the all mighty everest. It is the scariest thing iv done. It is 92 below. I cant even take one step without slipping. We just got up to were we are spending the night. So im off to bed. I will write in this tommorw.

I am Edmund Hillary and I have reached the summit of Mt. Everest. I have had alot of doubts but I managed to pull through and reach the TOP OF THE WORLD! I came upon hard climbs, big trenches and huge ice walls. I will admit that I was scared through most of the accent. It was a magnificent experience that I know i will never forget. I have made my goal in life and it feels great!

julians climb

I am at 8,000 m up. I have 50 m to go. I am trying to not fall an not lose my breathe. I was at the ice wall about an hour ago. It was really hard to climb the ice wall so Edmund helped me out to get to the top of the ice wall. I am now about 30 m from the top. I fell down because I slipped and landed on my bum it hurt. I am 15 m from the top. Edmund fell some and brock his wrist we fixed it and went on. we are less then 5 m from the top. Finelly we reached the top.

A couple of weeks in

I went up the mountain and today it was very bad weather. So we were walking up the mountain and then all of the sudden it started to thunder and lightning. That was my biggest fear.
24 hours later we get to where we are camping for the night. I already put my tent up. We went just to go look around and then I went to go into my tent up. The zipper was broken on my tenet. , so I had a friend come with me and I asked him "Can I sleep in you tent with you because my zipper to my tent is frozen?" He said " Sure... wait... do you snore?" Everest.

This is Edmund Hillary. I am almost half way up Mt. Everest it is very cold about 15 degrees.The climb up was pretty hard yet really exciting, as I make my way up the mountain i loose the nervousness. I have plenty of food and a nice tent so I think I am all set. Hot Tea really helps sore throats and other sicknesses so I have mostly been drinking tea. My journey up everest has been good. Nothing wrong... yet.

My name is Tenzing Norgay and i am a Sherpa. I was born some time at the end of May. My partner is Edmund Hillary and we plan to reach the summit. My wife does not approve of this ascent because she does not want me to die. I feel very happy to climb Everest. It will be very great if I reach the top. We plan to finish climbing Everest in 1953. It will take several months.

I am getting ready to climb Mt. Everest

I am at the bottom of the mountain in the village. I am really scared because I don't want to die. Before I climb I want to check and see if I have everything before I go. The one thing that I am scared is that what if I die what will my family do? What will they do if they can't find me? My Sherpa said " Are you ready to go up the montain? I said " Really scared." My heart started to pound like crazy. Then I just wanted to turn around and go home. I remember what my kids and wife said " PERSERVERNCE " So I didn't give up. I was just about to give up at the bottom but I didn't want to because I wanted to be the first one to climb to the summit! My buddy already started to climb so I started to climb with him.

This is Edmond Hillary and I am about to start my journey up Mount Everest. I am at the bottom and it is about 33 degrees. It is snowing very lightly. Pretty warm at the bottom but I know it will get much colder and worse severe weather.All my gear is packed up and i am ready to start and hopefully succeed. I predict it will drop 35 degrees. This is just the beginning.
